The Four Special Purim Mitzvot

Hearing the Megillah

Hearing the Megillah

We hear the Megillah twice, once at night and once during the day.  It's the whole story of Purim and we hope you catch a hearing! Chabad at 170 West 97 Street will be reading Megillah every hour, on the hour.

Mishloach Manot

A gift of two foods to a friend, symbolizing caring for others and those in our community. Give one to a friend on Purim and make their day!

Purim is an opportune time to give tzedakah - charity - to those less fortunate.

You can give to someone on the street or donate online to a charity of your choice.
